Clayton Dellinger

Clayton Dellinger is a junior in the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences majoring in Agricultural Science. He has minors in Agricultural Business and Crop Science. Clayton is a native of Iron Station, North Carolina, in Lincoln County. He is a graduate of East Lincoln High School.

“I am honored to be selected to be part of such a unique and prestigious program as the Warren Leadership Program. I am excited to see what the next year has in store for me,” says Clayton. “I am looking forward to making the most of this experience and developing my skills in agriculture leadership and public policy. The knowledge I will gain over the next year about all aspects of North Carolina agriculture will help me tremendously in the continuation of my studies here at North Carolina State University.” Clayton has been active in Farm House Fraternity, serving as secretary of the fraternity, Inter-Fraternity Council representative, and Agri-Life Council representative. He is also a member of the Agricultural & Extension Education Club.

Clayton plans to use his experiences in the Warren Leadership Program to explore graduate degree opportunities in law and public policy. Clayton envisions owning an agribusiness and taking an active role in public service in the future. He will be interning in Summer 2015 with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services.
