Anne Link is a senior in the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences majoring in Animal Science. She has minors in Nonprofit Studies and Agroecology. Anne is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, in Mecklenburg County. She is a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School.

“I am very blessed to have been chosen for such an innovative and ambitious program. I hope this program gives me direction for my future career and that the work I do honors the name of Adolph Warren,” says Anne. Anne has been active at NC State University as a student leader. She has served on the executive board of DanceLife and as a committee co-chairperson within the Residence Hall Association. She is also a member of the Animal Science Club.

Anne has a short-term goal of applying to the Peace Corps Agriculture Program to help communities develop secure food systems. She has a long-term goal of working in government to help transition commercial food systems towards more sustainable practices. Anne plans to use her experiences with the Warren Leadership Program to expand her understanding of public policy and sustainability in the field of agriculture. She will be interning in Summer 2015 with the North Carolina Farm Bureau Federation.
