Grayer Sherrill is a senior in the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences majoring in Agricultural Business Management. He is pursuing a minor in Renewable Energy Assessment. Grayer is a native of Newport, North Carolina, in Carteret County. He is a graduate of West Carteret High School.

“I am humbled to have been accepted into the inaugural class of Adolph Warren Leadership and Public Policy Fellows,” says Grayer. “I am excited to grow over the next year, working with my peers to develop ourselves as leaders in the industry of agriculture, as well as learning about North Carolina public policy and the agriculture industry in our great state!” Grayer has been active in leadership, serving as a 2013-2014 North Carolina FFA state officer and as a College of Agriculture & Life Sciences ambassador.

He plans to use his experience in the Warren Leadership Program to explore graduate opportunities in public policy and administration. Grayer has a long term goal of pursuing a career in government relations and agricultural advocacy. He will be interning in Summer 2015 with the North Carolina Farm Bureau Federation.
